Training: Trekking guide training by HMTTC, basic introductory mountaineering training jointly conducted by NMA and Petzl Foundation of France, advanced and basic mountaineering training by NMA, Helicopter Marshall course by NMA, first aid course by Wilderness First Aid, Mountaineering liaison officer training and trekking guide certification by NATHM, bird watching tourism training by TAAN, NTB and BCN and professional eco-leadership trekking by KEEP.

Personal Profile: Bibek is one of the most experienced trekking and mountaineering guides at Satori AdventuresPandey has over 20 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry and is very enthusiastic about guiding in the mountains. Bibek has successfully done expeditions summit like Mt. Everest(1 time), Manaslu (1 time), and Cho Oyu (1 time) and guided trips in the major trekking areas of Nepal, including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang, Dolpo, Mustang, Manaslu, Makalu, Kanchanjungha areas. In addition, Bibek has led expeditions on Manaslu, Cho-Oyu, Himlung and Baruntse and guided various trekking peaks, including Island Peak, Lobuche, Chulu East and many more. 

Dipak Bastakoti

Position: Mountain and Tour Guide

Experience: Mountain guide from 1997 and Tour guide since 2002

Personal Profile: Dipak Bastakoti was born and grew up in a small rural town of Gorkha situated in the lap of mighty Himalaya’s Manasalu range. Enticed by the nature and relationship of nature with us, he began to work in the mountain as a guide, dropping his teaching career. He has trekked to many peaks’ base camps and is equipped with vast knowledge of culture, religion, politics, economy, and other topics in Nepal. Since 2002, guiding visitors with different interests in the cultural cities of Kathmandu valley, Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini and more. He has work experience in Singapore for about two years and has travelled through various Indian cities, South Africa, Tibet, Thailand, Malaysia etc., enhancing his knowledge further. ‘Patience’ is what you enjoy while you are with him.

Santosh Basnet

Position: Mountain and Trekking Guide

Experience: Trekking guide since 2012 

Training: French language - 2011, guide training - 2012, First aid training - 2016 and Mountain Medicine Society of Nepal (MMSN) - 2019

Personal Profile: Born on 10th May 1983 at Solukhumbu 01 - Kerung, Santosh has been fond of nature, mountains and travelling from a very early age. That's what made him choose his career as a trekking guide. He is an incredible human being and knows how to make clients happy during the trekking journey. His qualities are good-hearted, well-mannered, polite and professional, making him one of our best trekking guides. His trekking portfolio includes Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit trekking, Manaslu Circuit Trekking, Langtang Trekking, Everest Three Passes Trek and Everest Base Camp Trek.

Man Bahadur Magar

Position: Trekking Guide

Experience: Trekking guide since 2005

Training: Guide training and rock climbing training - 2005

Personal Profile: Man Bahadur was born on 27th April 1980 at Khumbu Pasang Lhamu - 1, Solukhumbu. He is a gracious guy and polite and loves being in the lap of the Himalayas. Many of our foreign clients are very happy with his work and always give an excellent review about him. He is very hardworking and does his job with complete dedication. That's what made him different from others. He has done Annapurna Circuit, Manaslu Circuit and other trekking within Khumbu region.

Hari Bahadur Magar

Position: Trekking Guide

Experience: Trekking guide since 2008

Training: Cook Training - 2005, guide training in August 2009

Personal Profile: Hari was born on 16th May 1983, at Juving 09 - Solukhumbu. He is a powerful guy and kind in nature. Believing in satisfying and serving the clients had never left the stone unturned. He is a fun-loving, open-minded and approachable person. Hari has done much trekking; few are Manaslu, Annapurna, Everest, Langtang, Rara, Upper Mustang and Three pass trekking. He is well-known in English, Hindi, French and Arabic Language.

Training: Trekking Guide Certification via the NATHM (National Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management

 Personal Profile: Sunil is a native of Nepal and grew up in an area associated with the tourist industry.  Sunil embraced this industry from an early age and is now an experienced trekking guide.  Sunil has now been guiding for 11 years and has successfully guided treks in the major trekking areas of Nepal including Everest, Annapurna, Langtang Manaslu, Kanchanjungha and Makalu region.  Sunil is fluent in English and Nepali.

Sarmila Khadgi

Position:  Professional Tour Guide.

Experience: Tour guide since 2003.

Training: Tourist guide association from NATHM (National Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management)

Education: Master Degree in English

Personal Profile:  Sarmila Khadgi was born in Kathmandu, the tourist capital of Nepal and the gateway to Nepal.  Sarmila completed a post graduate degree in English and presently works as a tour guide for Satori Adventures (P.) Ltd.  Sarmila has many years of experience in tourism and hospitality and in fluent in English, Spanish and Nepali.

Ganga Magar

Ganga Bahadur Magar

Experience: Trekking Guide since 2005.

Training: Trekking Guide certification via the NATHM (National Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management

Personal Profile:  Ganga is from Solukhumbu, which is located in the Khumbu area of Nepal.   Ganga has been a government certified trekking guide since 2004 and currently works as a senior trekking guide for Satori Adventures. Even at his young age, Ganga has a decade of experience in guiding in the most famous trekking areas in the Himalayas, including Tibet and Bhutan.  Ganga is fluent in both English and Nepali and has been working with Satori since its establishment.
