Lobuche Peak Climbing is a popular peak climbing in Nepal on the edge of Mount Everest. Lobuche Peak is not so easier than Island Peak Climbing; This is a technically challenging trek. Climbing Lobuche peak takes you up over 20000 feet high, the climbing difficulty may arise, but with the proper guidance, one can summit. You could add this climb to your Everest Base Camp Trek.
Lobuche East Peak Climbing is an exceptional pick for your first Himalayan climb. It is an aesthetic peak with stunning views from its summit. Lobuche peak lies close to the Khumbu Glacier and has two prominent peaks, Lobuche Far East and Lobuche East Peak. The massive Louche East peak stands at 6119m (20,062ft) and is located at the latitude of 27°58'08''N and 86°47'05" E. A permit's cost is very reasonable, and the peak is somewhat secluded, allowing for more privacy. You will have a great view of Lhotse Face, Everest, Ama Dablam, and many other 6000m peaks in the Khumbu Valley. The standard route is up the southeast Ridge, it gained popularity after Mr. Laurice Nielson and Ang Gyalzen Sherpa successfully reached the summit from this route on 25 April 1984 around 13:00. The South and Southeast Ridges form a distinctive rock triangle that extends from the panel to the Khumbu Glacier. Lateral moraines with stone memorials make the ridges easily identifiable from the trek. It's our classic tea house treks with camping arrangements at base camp and high camps.
The best season for climbing the rocky Lobuche peak 6,119m (20,062ft) height is in the spring (April, May) and autumn (September, October, November). Satori Adventures offers Lobuche East Peak climbing as a guided climbing trip for groups looking to train for future ascents or groups with minimal experience. Lobuche East peak is more challenging than Island or Mera height. So prepare as you are a previous summiteer of Island or Mera. Lobuche east peak climbing is not only suitable for beginners; some prior experience is necessary.
Your adventure begins right after you depart Kathmandu; after a 35-minute flight through the spectacular Himalayan range, you will land in the historic village of Lukla. The trek to Lobuche peak begins from this village. You will pass through several landmark villages, including Namche Bazaar, the famous ancient trading post between Nepal and Tibet; Tengboche, home to a significant Buddhist monastery; Pangboche, the highest Sherpa village in the region; and Dingboche. You will have several options for small acclimatization excursions; these excursions will also make great photo opportunities. A hike up to Gorak Shep village at 5125m is excellent for acclimatization, or a trek to the satellite peak of Kalapathar at 5540m is another perfect option and has classic views of Mt. Everest. With these acclimatization qualifications, you will walk back to Lobuche village and trek to the Lobuche East Base Camp situated at 5200m. We will allow one day for acclimatization here again before we begin the short climbing period.
The climbing route from base camp traverses several different types of terrain. You will encounter a 2-hour slog along a well-outlined trail; this will take you to the first place to put a high center, right alongside a hidden lake at approximately 5030m is a beautiful area that makes for a great high camp. The route continues up a series of slabs that increase steeply until finally giving way to the high command's Southeast Ridge. These slabs are usually ice/snow-covered, so care is needed; at this point is when our professional climbing Sherpa guides will fix the ropes. 60m from central Ridge, slab end, and you are now faced with a 50-degree snow wall to ascend onto the Ridge. The start of the Ridge is at approximately 5700m. For the more adventurous, this is also a possible site for a second high camp to make the summit day a little easier; only 5% of the climbers require this camp, and not suggested for stronger climbers. Follow the summit ridge around seracs and various "lumps and bumps" toward the summit. There are no real difficulties, although there is a feeling of some exposure along the way. There is a considerable descent between the false and the true summit (around 200ft), which you may need to rappel down.
The Lobuche Peak climbing cost depends mostly on how long you'll stay in the region. The longer your itinerary, the more you'll be owing to your travel agency. And also, your accommodation and hotel rating varies the cost.

The Satori team really show up for their customers in every situation. They’re always fast to respond and organize, and when me and my friend got sick on the mountains they did everything to organize our evacuation swiftly. Rishi and the team even looked after us during our hospital stay.
When we planned to Climb Lobuche East Peak in the Internet we found Satori Adventures. After arriving at Kathmandu Airport we have been welcomed by the representative of Satori Adventures. We transfer to the Hotel. During our climbing and trekking we had an Experienced and professional Climbing Sherpa as we expected and he do his best for us.Our porters took a good care of our duffle bags. Rishi, Managing director of Satori Advenutes was always answering t our multiple emails in a really fast time. Due to altitude sickness, we had to change our itinerary, and it hasn't been complicated at all.
When we go back to Nepal again we will go with Satori Adventures and also we recommend
We had a great time on the EBC trek supported by Rishi and his team from Satori adventures. We had booked because of Rishi’s reputation as a great organizer and most welcoming host. He certainly lived up to this! We were very impressed by the trek crew who were cheerful and friendly and ran an excellent and tasty base camp on our climb. Point to note, trekkers summit of Lobuche East is actually about 5900m.
Satori Adventures was the outfitters I chose for my EBC and Lobuche east expedition and i am really happy with the professionalism and the services they provided. Starting from arrival in Kathmandu to departure from Kathmandu, this team took care of everything. This was my first time in Nepal and first expedition in Himalayas, and Rishi and team made sure that my first trip to Himalayas becomes memorable.. I was very much impressed with the leader and main guide of the team Mingma Dai( Mingma Tenzing Sherpa), amazing personality with such a kind, calm and positive attitude. He was highly professional in his manners. He not even once got irritated with our frequent stupid questions on the trail and very patiently answered all the questions.Everyday he would inquire about our health and would take care of everything that we needed.Other team members were also great. Rinji and Mingma bahini took very good care of us on the trail. Anoop Dai was the awesomest cook at the high camp. Also he was my Sherpa who never left my side during the climb.Porters were amazing. They were the powerhouse of the team. I was amazed to see them carrying 50 kg effortlessly when I was huffing and puffing with my daypack.
Overall,I am super happy with the team and services they provided and would definitely consider Satori adventures for my future expeditions. Also I highly recommend this team if you are looking for an outstanding experience in Nepal.Keep up the good work Team Satori!!
I had been to climb Naya Kanga mountain in the Langregion 4 years ago with Satori so decided to use them again for This climb. Everything was organised perfectly and even managed to spend a couple of nights at Everest Base camp after the climb hanging out with Everest climbers.
All in all an amazing experience and there really is no other trip quite like it
I used satori adventure for my trip to Lobuche east summit.
It was my first peak climb and I felt like I was in good hands from the beginning. Logistically everything was excellent and went on smoothly without any problems. Rishi, the CO of the company, is very caring and made sure that I felt welcome even before I landed in Nepal!
They were very flexible with the Initiary, making sure that I was happy with the layup for the trip, always answered all my questions within a day and kept me well informed.
Even though I stayed in the country more than a week after I came back from Khumbu and theoretically wasn't "with" the company anymore Rishi made sure that I was doing good and had a place to stay when coming back to Kathmandu after a short trip to south Nepal.
I can warmly recommend satori adventure based on my own experience, trekking and mountaineering with them. I will also use them again for future expeditions in Nepal!

Satori Adventures is the best host for any activities in Nepal! We utilized their knowledge and experience in organizing high-altitude expedition for a part of our group. For another part of our team, they managed to provide an incredible hike to the base camp of mt Everest and accommodate all the needs and urgent situantions on that trip. Definitely highly recommended guides in Nepal!
