Ongdak Sherpa

Ongdak Sherpa was born on November 1, 1998, in Makalu-04, Sankhuwasabha district. He is one of the youngest and strongest Climbing Sherpas and Trekking Guides on our team. Ongdak is friendly, humble, and loves working in the Himalayas. His positive energy, hard work, and "never-give-up" attitude keep everyone on the team motivated. Whenever hard situations come up on the mountain, he stays calm and helps solve problems so climbers can reach the top safely.

Even though he is young, Ongdak has completed strong safety and mountain training, including Wilderness First Aid, Mountain Rescue, and a 2025 Mountain Safety course. He speaks Nepali, English, and Hindi, making it easy for him to communicate with international guests. He has already built an amazing record, reaching the top of Mount Everest 4 times (2022, 2024, 2025, and 2026) and Mount Lhotse in 2026. He has also reached the summit of Ama Dablam twice, along with many climbs on Mera Peak, Lobuche East, and Chulu East. His strong skills and cheerful personality make him a great person to have on any climb.
