Furte Sherpa

Born in Makalu, Sankhuwasabha, Furte Sherpa is a highly skilled Climbing Sherpa and Trekking Guide known for his dedication, strong responsibility, and excellent care for his clients. He is an 8-time Mount Everest summiteer, with successful climbs on both the South and North sides spanning from 2018 through 2026. His extensive experience on 8,000-meter peaks also includes summits of Mt. Manaslu (3 times), Mt. Dhaulagiri, and Mt. Lhotse. On 7,000m and 6,000m mountains, Furte has proven his technical skills with multiple ascents of Mt. Ama Dablam (5 times), Mt. Himlung (3 times), Lobuche East Peak (17 times), Island Peak (9 times), Mera Peak, and Kyajo Ri Peak.

To maintain top safety standards on all trips, Furte has completed certifications in Basic Mountaineering, General Mountain Safety, Guide License Training, Wilderness First Aid, Introductory Mountaineering, and Rock Climbing. Certified by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), he has deep high-altitude experience to guide climbers safely to their summit goals.
