Lakpa Tasi Sherpa

Originally from Yaphu, Sankhuwasabha, Lakpa Tasi Sherpa is a highly accomplished Senior Climbing Guide and Expedition Leader with extensive high-altitude experience. He is an 8-time Mount Everest summiteer (with ascents spanning from 2012 to 2026) and has reached the summits of numerous other 8,000-meter giants, including Mt. Manaslu (5 times), Mt. Lhotse (2 times), Mt. Cho Oyu (2 times), K2, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Gasherbrum I. His deep technical record also includes multiple climbs on prominent 7,000m and 6,000m peaks, such as Mt. Amadablam (5 times), Island Peak (15 times), Lobuche Peak (14 times), Yala Peak (5 times), and Mera Peak (4 times).

To support his high-altitude leadership, Lakpa has completed comprehensive safety and mountaineering qualifications, including Basic and Advance Mountaineering Training, General Mountain Safety, Mountain Rescue, Hill Walking and Navigation, and Trekking Guide Training. He also holds certifications from the Khumbu Climbing School, Khunde medical training, and advanced photography skills. Fluent in English, Nepali, Sherpa, and Hindi, Lakpa combines exceptional mountain expertise with clear communication to provide safe, reliable leadership on every expedition.
