The Everest ‘Triple Crown’ Journey of Satori Adventures in Spring 2026: A Rare Feat of Endurance and Milestone in Himalayan Mountaineering
Satori Adventures, in 2026, proudly celebrates another remarkable achievement in mountaineering. Our member and elite Vietnamese extreme mountaineer Dr. Ngo Hai Son and together with our expert Sherpa guide Nima Sherpa, widely known as “Speed Nima,” accomplished a rare climbing feat by summiting Mount Everest (8,848.86m), Lhotse (8,516m), and Nuptse (7,861m) – collectively known as the “Triple Crown” in just 98 hours and 27 minutes.
Dr. Ngo Hai Son, an aesthetic surgeon at Viet Duc Hospital who holds the record of the first Vietnamese climber to summit K2 in 2023, keep his legacy of outstanding climbing. And, this year he becomes the first Vietnamese to successfully summit these three Himalayan giants in a single summit push. Dr. Son with Nima Sherpa achieved this historic accomplishment within just five days:
- Mount Everest on 20 May 2026 at 03:05 AM
- Mount Lhotse on 21 May 2026 at 06:25 AM
- Mount Nuptse on 24 May 2026 at 05:32 AM
The Himalayas continue to inspire the world with stories of determination, courage, endurance, and extraordinary human achievement. Climbing Mount Everest alone is a challenging feat for many enthusiasts and a lifelong dream for climbers. Summiting Everest, Lhotse, and Nuptse back-to-back in a single season and within a single summit push is an exceptionally rare and daring accomplishment.
The first recorded “Triple Crown” success was achieved by British climber Kenton Cool – who set a record with his 20th ascent of Mount Everest in 2026, the highest number of Everest summits by a non-Sherpa climber – and Dorje Gyalgen Sherpa in May 2013, making them the first climbers to complete this remarkable feat. Since then, only a small number of climbers have accomplished this extraordinary achievement, including Dawa Tenji Sherpa, Garrett Madison, Jay Whiting, and Ralf Dujmovits.
In 2026, the Everest Triple Crown was also reportedly completed by Tenzing David Sherpa and Chen Tao, alongside Satori Adventures’ team members Nima Sherpa and Dr. Ngo Hai Son.
Satori Adventures congratulates both climbers and takes great pride in this remarkable achievement as the expedition organizer. Their journey symbolizes the true spirit of adventure and inspires people to push boundaries while embracing challenges with courage, determination, and resilience. We invite you to join our ‘Triple Crown’ expedition and be part of this elite community of extreme mountaineers.
