Those mentioned panel of 24 Travel Masters judged the properties based on originality and design such as integration of local landscape into the property, guest experience, environmental responsibility, and how well the property reflects the surrounding landscape and culture. These judges relied on firsthand stays, industry insight, and comparative analysis of other properties from around the world.

In its article, Robb Report describes Shinta Mani as designer Bill Bensley’s “masterful palace of fantasy”, designed as such so every room has jaw-dropping views of the mountain range. The Hotel and the Program Outline
The hotel offers a ‘thoughtfully designed’ five-night, all-inclusive package that provides a taste of Lower Mustang. Therefore, a minimum stay of five consecutive nights is required. The hotel is nestled in the lap of Mt. Dhaulagiri and Tukuche with jaw-opening view of mount Nilgiri and Tilicho Peak with other Himalayan giants. DAY 04: Start with a scenic 1-hour drive to Jharkot, a timeless Himalayan town with an ancient monastery and fort reached through narrow alley. A further short drive takes you to the region's most sacred Hindu and Buddhist site, Muktinath Temple.
Visit Kag Chode Thupten Samphet Ling Monastery in Kagbeni, an ancient monastery built around 1429 AD as well as the village Jhong.
