The Chitwan National Park, popularly known for being a hub of Jungle safari, unique culture, and wildlife, lies in Nepal's central-south, around 165 km far from Kathmandu.
Satori Adventures has designed this package to cater to your interests and desires for visitors who have a short stay in Nepal. In this two-night-and-three-day package you can enjoy several activities in the Chitwan National Park.
You will take a flight from Kathmandu to Chitwan early in the morning. Your exploration (visit) starts after Lunch. You will first take a tour to a village inhabited by Tharus, a unique ethnic group. In the town, you will be suitable to learn about the typical lifestyle of the Tharus. In the evening, you will enjoy watching a Tharu cultural Program.
The next morning, you will be canoeing across the Rapti River from where you can cherish bird watching and also watching two rare species, Gharials and Mugger crocodiles. Then Lunch After Lunch, you will go for the Jungle safari. You can take either a jeep drive or an elephant ride across the jungle. You can see golden jackals, fishing cats, jungle cats, leopard cats, large and small Indian civets, Asian palm civets, and crab-eating mongooses, among many other faunas in the jungle safari. The next morning, you will visit the elephant breeding center.

Fly/Drive from Kathmandu to Chitwan. Hotel representatives will welcome you at the Bus Station or Bharatpur Airport. After having the welcome drinks, you will brief about your Time table and program. After Lunch, you will have a Village walk, Sunset view from Riverbank, Tharu Culture Program, and Dinner.

There are various ways to visit the jungle and watch the wild animals, insects and reptiles. Elephant’s Safari is one of the most popular activities done in Chitwan Park inside the National park to see the many wild animals. Elephant Safari means sitting in the top of Elephant and visiting the Jungle. From where you can see the different kinds of wild animals such as rhinoceros, deer, wild elephant, tigers, snakes etc. Safety and security being our first concern, you will always be accompanied in the jungle, by one of our professional guides or naturalist.
Canoe ride is the river activities done in Rapti River in Chitwan National Park. These types of Canoe ride is the gentle rivers of the Lower Nepal plains are as experience in few counties of the world. Canoe is the hand carved dug-out. By this Canoe riding you can see the two types of crocodiles Magar mas and the Gadiyal crocodiles also you can see the various types of birds.
Jungle walk are usually walks in a small groups. On a bird watching tour you will be guided by a Native Naturalist thought the grassland of Chitwan National Park. There are many species of birds found in this park. There are two Jungle Safaris in Chitwan National park, one is Elephant Back Safari and another is jeep Safari. We take you in national park safari on our 4WD jeep drive. Expert driver and guides will help you to recognize the pug marks of world famous Bengal tigers and leopards.
Nepal is a hub of various cultures. Tharu is one of the Local community people in Chitwan. The people are the indigenous inhabitants of the tarai reason of Nepal and have been the caretakers of the tropical forests of Nepal for centuries. They have their own culture, in Chitwan every Evening they will organize a Culture program they will perform Stick dance, and the crazy peacock dance are two highlights, but there are plenty of other surprises.
Chitwan National Park major attraction’s is the elephant breeding center. This was installed because the elephant population is becoming endangered in Nepal. The elephant breeding center is unique as it is one of the only 2 in the world. You have the opportunity to visit the center. You will see many babies Elephants in the center. There are two types of Crocodiles in Chitwan and one Gharials Breeding center which is endangered in Chitwan. The breeding center has been sat up in Kasara, Dedicate to the conservation of Ghariyal.
The main attraction of Chitwan is the Elephant Bathing. After the Elephant Jungle safari you can also participate in helping the Mahoute (The guide of Elephant) to bath with elephant.
There are Severeal Towers and lakes have been made by a local community committee to preserve wildlife in the forest.
