Satori Ama Dablam Expedition Scheduled to Fly Lukla on April 12th

The Satori Adventures Ama Dablam Expedition Spring 2016 team has been scheduled to fly from Kathmandu to Lukla on 12th April 2016. The team has completed all the process of necessary paperwork and finalized the logistics shopping and packing. The spring climbing group is combine form 6 different countries who are going to ascend Ama Dablam’s South West Ridge or The Standard Route. This years members include 3 Americans, 2 British, 2 Argentinians, 4 French, 1 Brazilian and 1 Slovanian.

Mount Ama Dablam is considered as technically more difficult climbing object than Mt. Everest, although lower in elevation it is a more steep climb require the use of intense technical skills and care through steep sections like the Yellow Tower and The Mushroom Ridge. Climbers have to ascend past the infamous Dablam on the South Face in order to ascend to the summit. Ama Dablam clients have the support of Satori Adventures best climbing sherpa, Kitchen staff, group leader and porters as they attempt this difficult ascent. The managing director of Satori Adventures Rishi Bhandari has been tirelessly handling all of the groups logistics as they arrange all of the critical details of the unfolding expedition.

The weather is expected to be clear this week in the Khumbu Valley with only a few days of scattered rain storms. This should not affect the team that much.
