Satori Adventures is proud to announce that the 2016 spring climbing season on Ama Dablam has been a huge success. We have put 4 climbers on the summit of Ama Dabalm. This year the route was opened by a combination of several teams all working together to provide safe passage for clients who were looking to climb this technical peak. Considered by many to be a prerequisite to an Everest ascent, Ama Dablam Expedition is a very challenging peak with several sections of vertical rock and snow/ice terrain. Our clients faced strong winds, cold temperatures and the constant battle of little oxygen as they scaled this majestic peak.
Luckly for them base camp was constantly stocked with fresh food, warm tea, a personal tent and several other luxurious that make your stay a true home away from home. We are very proud this year of all of our Sherpa and clients for bringing their best to the mountains. Without this sort of effort the Himalaya will not allow for safe passage.
